The first time I saw her in class, I leaned into Kyle and said, “the new student is really cute”. He rolled his eyes at me and asked, “interessierst du dich für sie?”, to which I quickly replied with a stern “no” and changed topics.
That was probably the biggest lie I’ve said all year.
